    also try adding more fibers behind the head but face the tips forward.secure the fibers then fold back and finish as usual. makes a bigger profile and slower fall

    I have tried tying the tail at the point and then start adding pieces using the foldback method while alternating top/bottom. That should work but so far not right.
    Getting all the material cut before starting a tie and in the right lengths and thicknesses is the key.
    I will have to really concentrate and try another tie to try and get it right like EP's jigs.
    But......this jig worked well so not too disappointed that it is not pretty to the human eye.
