    started with easter egg dye, then food coloring, then kool aid, rit, veniards and now fly dye.

    Yes, just a tablet from easter egg dye, vinegar and water is all you need. And something to dye. Since I'm not dyeing eggs I can heat the dye in the microwave and the warm to hot water sets the dye into the materials and once they are dark enough follow with a cold rinse to set the color. Colors lighten up a little once dry.
