Brand names are just that. All resins work. The cheap Chinese stuff will flat out burn your eyes if you get some on your finger and wipe at your eye.

I can recommend that you read some about the light source. There are several wave lengths in lights, and you want one that is going to be fast. Check into that.

Also, do not allow the light to shine into your eyes. They sell yellow lensed safety glasses, but I just use my hands to shield my eyes. Don’t stare at your jig whilst curing the resin. Look away or something.

They sell thin and thick and mediums. Well if you want thick you can chill the bottle, and use the thickened fluid to build things. Stick the bottle into a coffee cup with warm water and the resin will thin for penetration. Such as sealing thread wraps and such.

The resins will separate from the painted jig head. So if you are using it as an overcoat for eyes, make sure to encapsulate the head so the resin goes all the way around. Some actually dip the head.

I hit my stuff with a flashlight thingie, and then set outside to let the Sun provide a full cure. If the resin is tacky, it is not cured.
Maybe they will bite this one……

I bought a bottle off Amazon, received it today and used it on a few jigs and I’m well pleased with the results. And yes it was made in china
