Looks great. Have you thought about a flat diamond braid? Lots of colors available. I use it on my nymph patterns. Would be easier and wouldn't require the extra cement.
I am thinking outside the box trying a new use for Marabou in lure making. I am using the Marabou for a back stripe on my latex balloon strip Mealworm. After tying the lure I slick the back stripe and the lure down with head cement to make it extremely durable. The accent colors/stripes were made with colored permanent markers and also covered with head cement. Anyway, this is what I came up with. I welcome your thoughts and your comments.
