I don’t know about best quality but I have a bunch from J. Stockard with a solid ceramic tube. No tips to fall out. Bought a bunch on sale last year.

What I use. I like the shorty version. They also have a standard version.

If money is no issue I hear this is the cats meow. There is a standard version in it too. Above my pay grade.

Yes that Rite bobbin is good also and has the solid ceramic tube. I have one of those as well but it’s around $25 each. I wanted one for each color thread and when J. Stockard put those others on sale I jumped. Saved a bunch of money and they work good enough for me. I’ve had to add a drop of glue on one and heat the heat shrink again because it wasn’t tight but other than that no problems. That Shmaen looks good. Would love to try one sometime.

Rite is very hard to beat and he is a really nice guy too! They are also great if using thread that is not 210 Denier because you can set tension so it will not break when wrapping.

STONFO also makes one like this!

SuperDave if you have any trouble with the Rite shoot then an email or call!
