Evolution of a Jig
Tying a jig and then fishing it with good results is the main idea when at the vise.
So, it is rewarding when the initial idea results in the need for another jig of the same characteristics.
The jig 'Gray Ghost with a Work Vest' is an example:
This jig worked out well and caught fish all day which took its toll:
No arguing with that pattern so more like it were needed.
With 'some' tweaks, mods, and/or variations, here the next generation:
and then another one like it.
Old and New:
Still pretty rough looking but.......they will fish!
