Default First Crappie Jigs I’ve made.

I got a Wapsi Fly Tying Starter Kit at silent auction at the Smallmouth Rendezvous I thought it might be easier to start with a few simple crappie jigs. Not real good but might catch a dumb crappie.Name: IMG_1682.jpg

Not to bad for your first ties. Yes they should catch. Might want to consider keeping your first though so you can look back and see your progression in tying. It’s a good feeling catching fish on a bait you made yourself. Welcome to the addiction.

I agree with above comments. It's a fine start. Welcome to the addiction and you'll find a lot of help here with the CDC family.

Fishnwiz if I may , You might want to keep chenille just back a bit from the point of the hook. Else-wise it looks great to me. That is just one of my quirks.

First ties lead to first fish you catch with them and then you are hooked! Nice effort. Keep up the good work.

Nice start. Lots of resources here. Look at the proportions and materials and find the ones you like to replicate. You will develop your own style before you know. Have fun.
