    Those are great looking jigs that will put a few fish in the box for you. The chenille being held back that has been commented on is also held behind the point of the hook to keep from closing the opening of the gap between the point and shank. Other than that I think they’re great, especially for first ties. What Dave said about keeping them, after they catch a fish or two, is also a good idea. Welcome to the addiction and I look forward to what you come up with that works for you.

    To add to what has already been said, I'll add this. When you tie up some jigs, Always tie three exactly,(or as close as possible). put one up, and two in your tackle bag/box. The reason for this is two fold. First, should you loose the two for what ever reason, you have the master to copy, so you are not trying to remember what jigs you lost. The second reason is you get better at tying by doing the same thing repeatedly. Some call it muscle memory. For first ties those look great. Have fun with your new addiction.
