    Thanks. Still struggling with picture quality. That flash has pink and blue in it, just like the chenille. The pink shows up at a different angle than the blue, kind of neat. I save a patch of belly hair from my deer. I cut it off to make field dressing neater/cleaner. I treated it with salt and borax, wash it with Dawn dish soap, several rinses and it has been drying in a mesh bag. Looks like it should have great action.

    Nice use of the resource, no doubt fish catchers.

    I've been tying parachute flies and the belly hair I use for that is very uniform, almost like the deer was regularly groomed! This belly hair is longer and unkempt, but looks like it will make better tail material for sure.
