    Default Tying Clear Water Jigs

What combinations of colors would you use to tie Crappie Jigs for fishing in a clear water lake? Please use the formula Head/Body/Tail. Thanks

Grey Ghost would be a very good choice.
    I like more natural colors

I am a blue and chartreuse with a pink head person myself, after that blue and white with a white or pink head. Clear water presents so many options and those are just my go to colors for any water.

I agree with both of these guys but I really don't have much clear water to fish. Gray Ghost is always good anywhere I feel. Along with white, blue, chartreuse and pink. Maybe even add in black.

I like chartreuse about anywhere, so it combined with anything. But I fish stained water. In clear I would think as expressed that you would want to go as natural as possible. Silver and black might work. I would think they would be picky.

Any color will work in any color water. Find what you have confidence in and stick it in front of them.

I have a few that work for me!

    Silver/Silver/FL Blue
    Silver/Blue/White

The bottom two here, but the bottom two pics showing some Rabbit ties I would also use this kind of tie in more clear water.

THAT is a key factor in anything you fish. You have to have that feeling that the next cast will hook ‘em.
