I learned the basics from Skiptomylu posts on crappie dot com about 17 years ago. I still look at his videos occasionally. I now have 89 videos posted on my "shipahoy41 You Tube" TV channel. This was one of those videos. Enjoy. Please check out my other You Tube TV videos on my channel.

I wonder just how many people have learned from Skip over the years? I'm sure it's a lot, I'm one of them.

I love this bait so much better with the shorter tail feather. This old dog will be on the hunt today. I am throwing it in the water. Monday, I am going to make myself ten more like it.

Although probably not as much action as the longer tail I too like shorter tails. I try to keep my baits with a smaller profile.

Maybe start with the long tail to entice them, and switch to the short tail if they are short striking it.
