Hey folks. I been hunting off and on for two days for my Dubbing wax. Can't find it. Tired of looking. Momma comming in today, so when I go get her I'll stop and get a couple of sticks of plain Chapstick. seen a video on youtube and the tyer suggested Chapstick in place of dubbing wax. Guess we gonna see if it will work. Stay tuned more to come. I also picked up an orange car was mit, a grey duster and a chartreuse duster. Gonna try some mop jigs of different styles. By the time I can get back to fishing I will have quite a few different styles and sizes of jigs to try. Will post up pic's as I can...Eric

JD I was visiting with a friend when his wife came in from shopping. She had a feather duster and he was cutting off feathers before she came back in the room. We all use other stuff to make our jigs. Oh, he got caught and it cost him supper out. LOL

GrumpyLoomis, A couple weeks back momma bought a floor duster with the little tags on them like the carwash mit. She caught me eyeing it, and said the Iron skillet would need some dent's removed if she caught me tying any jigs with them tags. hers is the dark blue color, LOL. I got enough knots on my head already...LOL

I have seen jigs made out of the dust mop tabs somewhere. Pretty interesting stuff

Here's one for you Jack. The mop tag was a bit short so I filled in the shank with some grey chenille and added a hackle collar in orange to contrast the white head and grey body and tail.Name: 20220127_121858.jpg

Here is one from this morning. It's a blend of sorts. 3D EP fibers and a bit of natural raccoon tail. The 3D fibers as a tail.. just to see how it would come out. Used chapstick for wax on the loop.will try for shorter material for the loop. Name: 20220128_091015.jpg

I made this dubbing spinner out of some spinnerbait wire and a 1/2 oz worm weight. Just bent the wire around a magic marker pen and glued the straight end of the wire into the worm weight. Name: 20220128_193000~2.jpg
