Nice lookin stuff there catfish. Olive heads and dark rubber legs on #8 jigs work well for the gills.
I worked at a power generating station and at night when all was in auto and just cruising along I would tie jigs to pass the boredom. Got caught one night by the general manager all he said was Grumpy get that stuff out of here. He was a good boss.

Hi. In the second photo bottom row, if you don't mind me asking, what did you use for tail materials. Those are the colors that my wife and I tore them up on the last 2 years. It is more fun to tie them than buy rubber tails. I also understand if it is a trade secret. Oh by the way, really good lookin batch of jigs you got going on there.

The ones on the right are hair with a little feather mixed in. The left tan ones are a bag of feathers i got from Hobby Lobby.

I thought the tan on the left were feathers, but I wasn't sure. Wife loves Hobby Lobby I'll have to check them out. Thanks for the info.

Another good place for feathers is Woods and Water Outdoors. Patrick (Fridays86) dyes his own feathers and has colors you won’t find elsewhere.

Just open the box and tell them to pick two. The first word out of there mouth is usually “Really?”
