    Same with my carpet billyoung. But it did eventually fade.

    I keep a piece ( 12" square ) of old floormat ( raised edges ) on my boat for things like this and worm dirt. It works great to keep things off of your carpet.
    Hang it over the side of the boat when done, shake and/or rinse in the water. Put away and you're good to go with no mess.

    The boat I own right now has no carpet. Easy to keep clean.

    I dye chenille and hand tied jigs with the crawlic colors. My room smells like an Italian restaurant when I do it until it dries. Fish like it though. Mine stays home cuz I will spill it for sure.

    We’ve used the garlic and baitfish for many years. Crappie, bass, stripers, catfish and trout. Never hurts
