    Default Improvised hair stacker

I have tied jigs this year using only dyed Deer bucktail. One of the problems is that the hair tips are uneven. And I'm tying small jigs. Of course, I should use shorter hair...but I haven't got any yet. My choice was to use a hair stacker. I didn't get the appropriate size. It's way too small! So, I was rummaging in a kitchen drawer and came upon a possible substitute until I can order a proper hair stacker for the length of hair I work with. And yet, this could be good therapy....I could reduce my drinking.

Empty pistol brass or shotgun hulls can work in a pinch too.
