I built a T-bar several years ago that fits into my front seat post to use when spider rigging. Can't say as I blame you for not wanting to drill holes in your boat
I know some of y’all have really nice and fairly expensive rod holders. I really don’t like drilling any more holes in my boat than necessary unless I’m really sure I want to put something somewhere. I put this together from stuff in my shop just to see if it would work using multiple rods or holding a rod to make rigging or changing a bait on long crappie rods easier. The holders themselves I’ve made for years and sold many of them to friends for bank fishing. I made a jig to bend the bends and left 3 ft below the bent part to stick in the ground. I just cut these shorter for this holder.
