Everything said so far is spot on. I think it’s a very nice tie, well done and at some point those colors on that jig will work very well. Nothing is disproportionate enough to say it’s bad. A good jig that you’ll now refine a little, maybe, and start to gain confidence in. If you’re on fish like you say and have tried many presentations then I would lighten it up. It looks like a 1/16, I would tie some on the same size hook with a 1/32. Even lighter than that and downsize the proportions to make the jig look right. I’ve started with an eighth, nothing. Went to a sixteenth and caught one now and then. But when I went to a 1/32 it was on. Took home my limit of good fish. Also try a dead stick presentation. Try your best to hold it still and the maribou will still move a lot. Keep us posted…….
