    Default Making jig tails


    Twisting up some jig skirts (sili legs) to make single tails for some jigs...I have a variety of colors I use, and it's really easy. Give the tail a lot of movement...Name:  20210817_155244.jpg

    Here are some of the tails I have in the first pic. Second pic is the finished tails. The clear ball in the end is UV glue to give tail extra action as the jig is slowly reeled in...Name:  20210817_164032.jpg

    You could use a floating bead on the end for the action and ball shape. Looking good Eric.

    These are the tails to be tied onto some of my hand tied jigs...

    Everythings good. I will say they did today. Overcast morning threatening rain, which it did. But they worked, and I got that skunk off my back for now. Momma heads home again tomorrow, and will deliver probably Thursday morning. I have Physical therapy that morning, so it will be back to the honey doo's again then for several days.
