I think I like trial by error best. I get ideas from these folks and then start to tinker with it. I tend to learn more and retain more. At my age retention has become the bigger challenge.

As stated earlier I would post up some pics. Unfortunately I wasn't where the skeeterhawk would work so I used other hand ties I had done up at the same time. Only got a couple hours in before the rain chased me away. One day I'll I'll get at least a rain jacket if not the whole suit, hahaha. The black and chartreuse worked very well, and the red, gold chartreuse had several hits...
All were small 7"-8", and got released back to grow some more. I tried to get a pick of the green water, but the calm water reflected the clouds but I got some that may show it well enough...and a pick of a fellow fishers bucket with lake water in it..Name: 20210817_073703.jpg

And here some picks of the bridge I fish off most times as it's not far from the house. I am standing about mid-way of the bridge...Name: 20210817_070917.jpg

    Your welcome!

Glad to see you and SuperDave336 enjoyed it and I see it's doing just what I hoped it would, set or start some fire ideas burning inside.
