Magnifiers for poor eyes

The cataract surgery may help with your progressives being powerful enough to get the job done. I sure as heck couldn’t read a lick without mine! Hope the surgery gets the job done!

Thanks, all. I want to avoid the readers because then I will be fumbling with 2 sets of glasses. I have proressive lenses, but need the magnificaton. Next week I have cataract surgery. Wish they could give me a bionic eye so that I could go from telescope to microscope in a blip. A fbuilt in fish finder at no extra charge would be peachy.

Hey had the cataract surgery about 8 - 10 years ago and it's easy as pie! However choice of the lens you get make a huge difference. My wife got hers done just a few years ago and if you pay the extra the vision is really good, mine even though I paid to get near and far vision is lacking some. Good luck and hope you get the near and far, they are better now for sure!

No sweat on the surgery as long as it's a good doc which I have no clue where your going. Then no glasses at all needed!!!

My dad had cataract surgery once and never wore glasses of any kind the rest of his life. He could read fine print easily but never tied a jig in his life. Let us know how you do and I hope the best for you.
