Thanks everyone. I also was thinking $1.50 apiece until everyone sees how they catch fish. I been in the states for the last month and I have ripped the lips off the crappies with these. My buddy and I have been testing them every time we have been going out and I been consistently catching 2 to 1 and sometimes more. I am taking 3000 jigs to tie and want to have lots of stock to offer when I return. My daughter will fill the orders when I go back to the island.

Love St Lucia and its pretty cheap to retire there. Weather is great but there isn't much to do. We overlook the ocean and watch the fishing boat come in and you can buy fresh catch at the dock for about $3 a lb. But there is no fresh water to fish in. The few rivers are shallow until it rains and then they are swollen. We are on the Atlantic side and the water is real rough. The Caribbean side is smooth but its an hour drive. Not much fishing opportunity.

They hold up well.. I whip knot them twice (5 turns each) and then use a drop of glue and light.

Going to start with 2 models in 3 sizes in lots of color combos.
    Icelandic sheep and Icelandic ice
    Kip tail and Icelandic ice.

I found this material that I call Icelandic ice because it is different than polar ice in that it has more action and is translucent. Is what is going to make these jigs special.

    shuuhhh...its a secret!

One great advertising trick is to show pictures of the fish you caught with the jigs, just make sure that the fish and the jig is in the same picture together. I like to show the fish still attached to the jig in my pictures to prove it is what I caught it on. FYI I do NOT sell jigs and this is just my opinion of what MAY help you sell a few.

Yeh good idea. I was fishing in Ohio and they don't get as big as down south here but this was a pretty nice one.
