    Default Another one with wings

Just seeing if it would work. I know the first ones too far back on the hook, second one needs a bigger hook to make a full body, but they might still get bit...Name: 20210729_220941.jpg

I think they will work just fine for you. I tend to think we as fisherman are pickier than the fish sometimes.

    I agree with SuperDave!
    I’d fish those everyday.

That thing looks so real you better be careful casting it. A bird might swoop down and get it.

Nice looking ties. You do realize that using that jig hook will have the wing on the bottom during your retrieve.

Yes sir. They are not made to cast and retrieve, but for vertical jigging, and the dead bugs I have seen sinking are upside down. Hence they would look natural to the fish...

I can see they are coming along a little better as you try again and again! Good progress on your wings.

Thank you skip. I think maybe some clear mono type thread would help so it's hidden a bit better in the mid-section, and I got a tip from another tier about adding a piece of wire to the hook to extend the body back instead of going around the hook shank. Just need to get to the hardware store for that to try...More in the works. Thank you again for the kind words...
