First I don’t think my stuff is “fishing junk” and second you know nothing about my housing situation and why I want a building. Yes it is put my stuff in but also because we have no room in our house. Please be polite and not nasty as you said. Thanks

How well did the Old Timers at the crappie club like the jigs?

Jack, the meeting hasn’t happened yet. I am sure they will be happy.

Seems my little thread here has irritated some people. The owner is in here now, admonishing and having to enforce the rules. Moderators editing people. I have even been told I share way too much information, and was asked to stop. Never was my intention to stir the pot. Just wanted to share my experiences and try to fit in and make friends. I mean you guys showed me how to do this stuff. 8 months from zero experience to……. a day like today.

Used the lure I showed, in the manner I described, 2 1/2 hours, limit and done.

Maybe they will bite this one……

Nice looking mess of fish. Sometimes the pot is self stirring these days. I stir it from time to time by accident. Most folks are pretty stressed these days. You've done well in 8 months both in jigs and fish. Cooler weather is around the corner and that will have the crappie bitting good. That makes everyone smile

    Great catch.
    Look like all black crappie.
Been raining for 3 days here in Southern Indiana and adjusted my schedule to get after them again tomorrow morning. Water temp should have dropped some but water may have muddied up some. No worries.
You should be proud of your accomplishments in 8 months.

That painting WAS a little scary, Micanopy! That said, I always enjoy what an artist comes up with. Donating to young kids seems like a good way to pay it forward.
