Looks like shrimp/crayfish/fish food to me! Nice job.
I took a giant step in my tying game today and tried something totally new. I must say I took a very big bite, and the learning curve is greater than I imagined...I for sure made mistakes, that is for certain...her is my first try...
The hook leaning against the vise is what I used...
The biggest mistake, It's upside down...uuuurgh!!!!

first run at something like that and it looks that way, you have some skills! Fish won't care that is upside down, just means its dead or dying and they will get it. Good Job!

Thank you MCG1, and Frydays86 for the kind words. I watched a couple videos and used materials on hand to simulate a crawfish best I could. Soon as I can it's gonna get wet and we will see how the fish like it...Thaks again...

Wow, I’d fish that right now!
What is it imitating or where did you get the idea?

Well Redge, If I'd done it right, it would be an crawfish imitation. But momma says it is more of a cross between a crawfish and shrimp. As far as the idea, I got watching you tube videos on crappie/panfishing. On multiple videos it was mentioned that they do eat crawfish so....why not. It's done on a darter head jig that I removed the hook keeper collar on, in 1/32 oz so no the weight should be down close to 1/64th oz.The over all length is just a shade over 1- 1/2" inches, and the hook is a #6

Sorry James but I really don't see any flaws. The thump is coming.

That’s a very good jig, and it’s gonna get eaten. Drop that near smallies or shellcracker beds and it’s gonna be game on!! I think you’re sandbagging us, you tie better than you say you do.
