    Default Skull head Jigs

I ordered 50 of these from WOODS & WATER and normally I don't buy heads, pour everything myself. Something about this head the way they rest with the hook up sold me. I painted them finishing with the crinkle, baked them and what stood out was the belly portion which the crappie usually see first. Crazy look to the bellies. I ordered another 300. I noticed the rims around eye sockets on my jigs also have a similar effect. Paint runs faster there….. I’m guessing.
Maybe they will bite this one……

The ones with the red underneath look realistic. Most minnows have red in that area.

That’s nice! Never seen that head before. You said skull head I was thinking of the one print a lure makes. I’ve thought about getting it but just haven’t. Lol

Cool heads Jim, and the paint makes them even better. I’d like to see the mold. I can’t figure out how they make the chin concave and get it out of the mold.

Ledhed has a skull jig mold, pretty cool heads. I have some painted ones around here somewhere. Need to talk him into pouring some for me so I can paint some crinkle skulls. They use a spincaster to pour these heads and it looks like they break them off at the nose tip, really clean heads. Sorry about the blurry pics, my photography needs some work. They look much better in person.

I purchased some of the same heads. I wish they had them in more than one size because I really like them.

A 1/8 skull would be nice.
