    Default Crinkle Jig Heads

Been fighting with the Crinkle jig heads like may others!! Got tired of throwing away my good jig heads so decided I would play with jig heads I very seldom if ever use anymore. 3/32 with#2 hook. FINALLY the heads started to look okay if not some real purty! I will start using my good jig heads now and see if I can continue to paint nice looking heads. The pictures are of the 3/32 #2 heads.Name: B.jpg

Those look really nice. I probably painted 300+ before I got them dialed in. Once you get some it gets easier. Some colors just won't show, still trying to get purple to show but think it's blending with the silver.

Thank You people for all the support. I tried to get green to turn out but it didn't happen!! Some colors just don't want to work. I found out I can make different colors by putting yellow on first and then pink and then reverse the colors. Pink With Yellow over looks pretty cool. So far I'm not fast enough to do three colors on the jig. It cools to quick for me and my speed!
    Thank You

I would like to understand a little more about the process and the paints used. Can you please share a little. They look very nice and I would like to try my hand at making some.

There are a few more threads about this on this board. One even has a video you can see. The Crinkle Paint comes from TJ's Welcome to TJ's Tackle

This should be the 3rd page and a few post up from the bottom there is a video. Also you can read the rest.

I did some with the silver crinkle paint….but that is not what he is using. His look to be something other than. Also his patterns seem different.
