    Default Experimental and Opinions Acceptable

I intend to use this thread to showcase my future work.

Experiments and such. Oddities and wonders brought together without purpose perhaps and again for effect just on Tuesdays.

My wife was beguiled by my jigs and she did take of the powder paint. Quick to point out she was too, that the media did not allow enough control for artistry. Which fluffy powders do not. She suggested a simple powder base, and then go and apply the details over that using a more controllable media. We then discussed the diversity of finger nail polishes.

She has a degree in art and is quite talented and why I wanted to watch her experiment powder painting jig heads. Showed her but a bare few quick things and backed off to witness what would be done. I think she did well. Seemed happy and wanted more to do.

I poured the FreeStyle 3/8ounce with no keeper wires at 650-725 degrees Fh. Used a ladle to fill just one cavity. Then after cleaning up the pour marks with sand paper, she then added the protective tubing, heated the jig over gun, and swirled it in the paint of her choice. Looked like a champ doing it, like she would be good to make a big pile, too.

The colors were mostly combinations. She had a few I don’t think I have seen before. I am supposed to now tie something onto the hook shanks to make them pretty. Yeah couldn’t see that coming could we.

Anyways I wanted to have a dumpster where I could like pitch stuff, and maybe kind of record the progressions of stuff. Yes my stuff but I was kind of hoping that it could be a thread that people visit when really dead bored. Snicker and such. Most regular threads seem to be kind of pat me on the back affairs, and I get that, but I don’t want you people having to accept anything I put forward. I also don’t want others to feel I would challenge their challenges.

I have my hands full with those heads.
Maybe they will bite this one……

She is after art, you are after something that catches fish. Humor her and know your blessed to have someone taking a little interest in your hobby. Cant wait till you teach her tying. Keep them coming.
