A nice bunch of jigs, they should sell well.
I donate hand ties to local charities for fund raisers and they go well.
It seems that anglers are into hand crafted lures and willing to pay a good price for them.
Like grumpy said, family. Everyone here has become my second family, no face book or other aggravation. Just like minded people I could spend the day in a boat with.
My panfish bugs/jigs didn't bring much at the sale. Just over 50 cents each. Had fun though and gave some away to a about two dozen kids and a Vietnam and Iraqi veteran. The negotiations and up selling was entertaining for sure!
It would be willing to bet that they brought some smiles to the kids and veterans faces. To me that is priceless.
Like I mention ended, my Panfish bugs were mildly successful. I also was able to sell some on a local auction site. I did get a referral to a steelhead/salmon fisherman to tie 500 flies though:biggrin You never know how things will turn out, eh?
That is great news
Good Deeds generally get reciprocated in some form! Very nice work!
Thanks, it helps having great material that I got from you and Skip. Really looking at that Texas Toast color. Would make some great trout flies!
