Nice! If they hold up to the catching they look like they would be very effective. Good looking eyes.
The really nice jig eyes are terribly expensive. I bought some cheap ones stuck on paper and don’t like them. I decided to try something flashy and extremely cheap. Sequins and they come in all sizes and colors, but more importantly they come 57 million for a dollar.
I applied Loctite gel to a plastic surface, then dabbed in a tooth pick, then used it to smear glue on jig head, then used it again to pick up sequin, then applied sequin, then the dry end of tooth pick to position, then hang to dry. Pretty easy and they may pop off later but that’s OK. They are concave or convex depending on how they lay. I used the concave side towards the jig as they fit better- more surface for the glue.
I may try my hand at making realistic eyes someday. Maybe I’ll break down and buy some ready mades. For now though this was faster and easier than painting eyes. I got bored with all that after like 50 of them. I like the look of the sequins better anyways.
So if you want to try this it was very easy to manage.

Nice!
I get my eyes here and are cheap and best I have find. They run $9.99 for anywhere from 600-1200 eyes. Takes about 3 weeks to get. Just got another batch in yesterday.

That's also where I get mine from. Always good stuff and sometimes he adds some extra.

Wow, 2000 should do it, I still like your original idea, they are all over my house as the lil woman makes dresses and things for young girls. We will see how they hold up.
I read about favorite colors and black and chart gets mentioned pretty regularly. I plan to play with white as well- same reason.
My wife has a pack of googly eyes from the craft store and I commandeered a few. A repurpose project. They stick out and make the Bat jig look like a bug eyed tadpole. Sequins go in opposite of Freestyle jig fashion, convex side gets inserted into the deeper cavity.
Maybe they will bite this one……S10CHEVY LIKED above post
