New color pattern.....Clown. I first saw this combo on a Wordens Lil Corky steelhead lure.

I use the 1/16 oz tube with my skinny profile minnow ties.

I failed at crinkle painting 101 but plan to use my failures anyways.

Dr Nip.....can you give a brief explanation as to how you affixed the 3D eyes to your jigs.
Maybe they will bite this one……

I have a thread in the painting jighead forum on how I make a jig start to finish with pictures. Gorilla glue clear is mostly all I use. Goes on clear, no discoloring, fingers won’t stick together and eyes don’t come off. I’ve even painted the glue over the eyes. They be a little tacky for a couple days if you paint over but eventually will go away. I do have KBS, Devcon and BSI which I’ve used but gorilla glue clear is the easier, fastest and holds. The jighead holder I made with supplies from Lowe’s. Just strips of wood and screws together with window insulation strips in middle. It has adhesive on one side and conned in a roll.

You guys have been just great !!!

I joined in January, and today landed a personal best on a jig I made copying you guys and playing around. Double Pumper, down three feet in seven feet of water at 1.4 mph....inside planer board off the starboard side.

Yes sir that there is my jig stuck to the roof of his mouth.

I really appreciate you kind of encouraging me some. Making your own lures makes you all that much better I imagine. Seems so. Thanks.

6mm flat premium hologram sequins.....1,000 for $8 including shipping. They really FLASH at you. I had ordered these before I ordered my Chinese fish eyes. Turning them about in my hand I see oranges, blues, greens and of course silver. They fit my FreeStyle heads very well. Again a small drop of Loctite Super Glue Gel Control, smear it around with toothpick, dab sticky toothpick onto sequin to pickup and place, turn toothpick around to adjust and properly align and let dry. The other sequins seem to be staying on during trolling operations using that glue. Sally Hansen might work good, too.

    Did I mention they FLASH
