    Default Tonight’s project

I’ve got a ton of new material and ideas whenever I can find the time. Playing around with some ideas tonight.

I like it a lot! Orange head on that too be dynamite. Have to tell me how ya did the chenille on bottom ones. Also constructive criticism, might stop the chenille at the point of the hook. Looks a little long on the bottom ones.

Thanks guys, yeah I know that about the chenille length stopping or should at hook point. Don't know why or haven't even payed attention to these. I'm blaming it on the constant interruptions from my daughters getting out of bed....lol. I was playing with colors and materials more than anything. The best video I've found on tying that weave is from SK. He makes it pretty easy looking. It's tough to get them consistent especially when you don't do them often....lol. There are some other weaves on Fly Anglers Online under the advanced tying section as well.

Nice ties. I just revisited FAOL awhile back and it’s a shame that the site kind of died, but there is still a nice archive of articles and fly recipes there. I probably have over 200 flies or more on disk, and every one I tried worked. Some I just never got to. I want to start tying again - it is a great hobby. This forum gets me interested.

As SK says, the ones with jagged sides will get bit more often than ones with straight lines along the sides. It's like the Tiger Weave...
