Nice work and good colors. I have a couple of jigs that I keep in my box with more backups at home. Just poured and painted a few days ago and I’ll post when I finally sit down and tie.

This Bream Killer is good on a #8 or #10, but need a curved fly tying hook. I use Daiichi and have way more than I will ever use, but these are Multi-Use-Curved Hooks 3x-Long. I don't know other brands enough to say, but am sure all of them make a hook like this. FYI, I buy these hooks in packs of 25.

Here is the link to the materials and how it's tied.

You can also find a video on youtube if you want, but the one I found didn't use the lead wire wrap on the shank and it needs that to do what it does!

I took a look at the link you sent for the brim killer flies, and have printed them off. Looks very effective. Should be able to use as a float and fly set up, yes???

James, I get the hours thing, I too had 10 years in the food industry at Heinz USA and 28 on swing shift in the power industry. My 4 military years of Marine time I was very young and thought I was bullet proof. But fortunately since retirement I sleep well and function horribly before 5 a.m. Keep tying and showing great jigs.
Thanks Jamesdean thanked you for this post
