The tails seem long. Is there a reason for that ?
In between doing things that really needed doing, I was back and forth between work and relaxing at the vise today...what are your opinions...

Maybe they will bite this one……
That braided tail looks neat. Don't think I have the patience for that! I do like the one with a single strand tail. I sometimes do that and put a knot at the end that I paint for a hot spot. I have no idea if it works, yet.

it's really not hard to do. take a piece (full strand) of rubber/latex strand in each hand between the forefinger and thumb. twist the ends in opposite directions untill it twists together. what takes time is getting them to come together in the right spot. but with a little practice, I get one done in less than a minute...and I think I'm slow at it...

You nailed it James. As you can see from my signature photo I like silicon rubber tails. You have given me some ideas I've never even considered.

Thank you GrumpyLoomis. But to be honest, I can't take credit for coming up with the twisted tail. Their is a young man who started a you tube channel a while back tying jigs. His name is Roman Avila, and I'm not implying he was the one who came up with this idea originally, but it was one of his video's that got me started doing it. Seeing's how I am on this box quite a bit I started checking out tying video's to see how others were doing things different, and maybe better than I was. Easy way to advance ones skills. He was one . And thank you for the compliment, I'm still learning...
