Some fella wet their material before tying. Maybe that is why?

Here's the colors I worked with last night: Black marabou, orange deer belly hair, white marabou, burnt orange chenille, burnt orange 3/0 thread, orange Eagle Claw jig head.

The static electricity here is so bad that working with feathers is almost impossible, crazy. Be nice if we could harvest that.
First off get one of the little sheets your wife uses in the clothes drier and you can take the static out of your feathers, a must in winter for sure, lol!

Next size on chenille for me is like this, most sell size 2 and is kind of standard, but if you tie a 1/8 Oz or 1/4 Oz head you need to double wrap the body and even more than that when you make it new age by adding Crystal it's less dense. So is why I use size 3 for most, but a 2 color chenille needs to stay at size 2 because it will look different at size 3.

Now for me Crystal is different due to it being Mylar and when wet it will lay back to make a beautiful body and I even use size 10 and 12 on my 1/32 Oz Roadrunners, see Pic below. If you would like to talk a little let me know and we can get on the phone later this afternoon if you want? I have to go get my usual blood work this morning still. Send me an email or PM and we can chat a bit about this.

Of course to each his or her own as far as what size you like, it all works very well.

The Crystal on these are all size 10 and look spiky, but wet is nice! These are 1/32 Oz Roadrunners with #6 hooks.
Also I believe the Green body is size 3 and the Chartreuse and Black is size 2.
