You could use that on any smaller jigs so the thread doesn't build up as much as the thicker 210 denier. You can use it on jigs just can't pull as hard and tight. I prefer 210 denier myself.
What do you guys tie with the 70 Denier Fly master ,also the .006 Monofilament , I have a lot of the 210 Denier flat waxed nylon that I like , is the 70 Denier used for jigs , thanks

That .006 mono seems to have a lot of memory. Always wants to curl and twist around my bobbin. Sure is strong though.
Thanks for the info. I have about 20 spools of the 70 denier and can not remember when I got it , and though about using some , thanks
70 for me would be more for fly tying, I do use some 140 tying jigs and for color I even have a couple of 6/0 Uni spools, but most is 210 for me. I do tie some flies as well, but so far have not needed to use the smaller stuff. I even have a few 14/0 and figure if I ever use that I will probably have to use a Rite bobbin to keep from breaking it, lol!

I have some 70 denier and I only use it for 1/64 or smaller jigs. You have to really be careful when tying with it because it breaks really easy. It takes the gentle touch of a fly tyer for a jig tyer to use it.

I’m about the same as grainraiser, small jigs. It does break easier than the others so I stretched the arms on one of my bobbins and it doesn’t break anywhere near as much. Much easier to hide the thread on small jigs and flies.
