What are your 3 favorite jig head colors, and why?

Chartreuse, Flame Red and Silver (prefer Plated Nickel). Because they all work!

Chartreuse in stained water, Flame Red in extra stained water like after a big rain and Silver when the water is somewhat clear and especially if the sun is shinning!

I do like other colors, but feel these 3 are my favorites.

My 3 all time favorite colors are ruby slipper, pearl with junebug tapped on and junebug with fluorescent green chartreuse tapped on. Why, they work and all look really cool too. Black with chrome tapped on, disco gold and disco blue are right there too.

I'm using nail polish. Right now I use a base coat of white and a top coat of color. Would my colors be more vibrant with two coats of white or two coats of color?

With powder I use 1 coat white but I can not really answer for nail polish. Colors do change when white base is used. I like yellow, black, ruby red in various shades but use a number of others as well.

I,be never used a base coat white. Come to think about it I don’t even own white! Guess I need to try to see. I dip my heads in clear coat after I paint to give extra layer of pop.

YES! I’ve done 2 coats white and 2 coats of color before! Then Sally Hansen hard as nails. That’s about as much pop as you can get with nail polish.
