Default So I Have a New Little Helper

Last summer my wife and kids finally talked me into a kitty and all I can say is I don’t regret it one bit at all as she’s been a blessing. This kitty loves when I tie jigs and comes a running when I unlatch my bin to my tying stuff. Redge told me the other day her coat would make a great grey ghost. I’m thinking he’s right!

I had such a good tying friend for many years. Name: Woofy 2.jpg

I know right? I learned quickly not to have jigheads on table as I’d turn around and she’d be chewing on them.

I have an allergy to cat and rabbit fur so I’ve always stayed away from them. 20 some years ago at a flea market there was a calico female kitten that had been dropped off, long story short, she came home. That was the ONLY cat in my life I’ve ever been able to handle that didn’t make my face explode. She lived almost twenty years and would run towards me, meowing loud, when I pulled in with the boat after a trip. She knew she would get fillet scraps. And she ruled the yard. Moles, squirrels, chipmunks, you name it, they didn’t get to play on her turf. At 17 years old she put a young Tom down the street after a big to do. She came back, meowed at the wife and I, and went to cleaning herself. I miss her but fear my allergy would raise its ugly head if I tried another. You guys are lucky to have such good friends.
