Love the paint job and I like my spinner bait time of year.
I was digging through my blade box last week and spotted some Gamakatsu B10S Stinger hooks and my first thought was These would be great for crappie spinnerbaits. I checked my Crappie spinnerbait mold and it fit so I picked up a pack each of #1 and #2's. I poured and painted some and have been tying these up for the past couple days. I call the ones with mallard flank Triple F spinnerbaits, since they are made using feathers, flash and fur.

I have some crappie size spinner baits and they work great, am sure these will too!
Nice work!

Those look great! I'm sure they will work good.
The mold is two sizes they list as 1/16 and 1/8th oz. but the TW or true weight is 1/8 and 3/16 by the time everything is put together. These hooks are super sharp and strong compared to the hooks that are recommended for this mold. Baits in the 5th & 6th picture were made with possum zonkers, Krinkle Mirror Flash and crosscut bunny strips. These would work with soft plastics as well. Going to order more forms since I'm out now. I have caught some big crappie and bass up to 4lbs. on baits like these once the water warms up to 50 degrees or higher, so it will be awhile before I get to use any of them. The blades are hand painted as well so you won't find these colors in any catalog. Blades are pretty easy to paint once you paint enough of them , colors are unlimited.
GrumpyLoomis thanked you for this post
Yours are larger than the ones I have, these have I think are 1/32 and 1/16, 1/24 and 1/12 I need to look as my memory is not what it once was, lol!

I have a couple of stories of spawn season crappies and 1/8 spinnerbaits. They’re some kind of fun when it’s working. And the bass down here wouldn’t leave them alone.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
While picking up more stinger hooks for future spinnerbaits I also picked up a pack of Daiichi streamer hooks in size 4. They are going to be perfect for these spinnerbaits and are so sharp that they might reach out and grab crappie if they get too close. I modified the larger crappie spin to take a buzz bait form so will be making some of those too. Going to see if I can catch a crappie on a buzz bait. Never have but never tried yet.
Well you may not catch crappie til you try but I can attest to the fact bass and fish of the bass family will keep you entertained till crappie hit.
