Here is a video that has vibration table as one of the ways to apply powder paint. He doesn’t use both fluid bed and vibration table together like Ryan did.

SuperDave, Thanks and if I did not see it I would say horse pooty, that vibration will never work. He explained it very well. I'm not totally bought in but it is always good to learn new tricks.

    Good Video!

That guy is all off into it, lol! I will stick what the fluid bed I have been using for about 15 years now. I did like the liberation method a lot though and if I was just starting out I may look at that.

Me I switched fluid bed cups. I use to use TJ tackle cups that had the dense bottom and would have issues with a lot of colors. I now use one that has more of a paper bottom and my cups circulate all my paints way better. Only draw back be carful not to tear the paper. Since finding this out I now just order the paper precut off eBay for cheap and buy my pvc at Lowe’s and make my own cups. I need to do a video on the two types of cups. Night and day on some colors.

I would like to see that. I haven't been using fluid bed long and I have the TJ tackle cups. So far no issues but I haven't been doing it long and might not recognize a problem....lol.

That sounds interesting for sure. Also have you tried mixing in some clear to colors that don't flow well? I do that and find they all do pretty good in the cups from TJ's. Did have issues before that though.

I use to mix clear in my paints years ago but no longer do and dip in clear afterwards. Still had same problem. My cups are from like 2013. Maybe they’re different now, dunno?

Most of mine are old too, have not bought any in something like 5 years or more, can't remember for sure. There are a few colors that I don't ever mix due to the clear making it change, like Chrome and I am thinking one or two more. Most I find did well with enough clear and I am using that clear that Rosey's use to sell, their 200% Gloss Clear, but I am not sure it's really any different than CSI's (Pro-Tec's) Clear?

I stopped tying for others something like 4-5 years ago so I have way too many colors and cups, lol!

I tied a few after dinner last night. I’m still able to fit everything on the kitchen table, barely....
