I agree Ryan, My jig box is ridiculously heavy as being prepared is key. I do fish with a guy who carries a tiny little plano box with just black, white and yellow jigs in 2 sizes with a zip lock bag of asst. tails and he seems to get by quite well. Just not my style. lol

That G-Box slit foam is nice and I have probably half a dozen now. Every tackle box size I have is 3600 or smaller so they are interchangeable with my bag. Very nice start with jigs and jig heads!!

About the best price I’ve seen on those boxes is at Scheel’s. I just ordered a couple more with some other items.

I was running low on jigs, so I spent some time out on the driveway today.

This was the first time using my 1/8 oz oval mold from CNC Molds. It casts some nice looking jigs.

I did some coating last night and used my new Jintai dental vibrator with some of my powders that tend to not fluidize well. It worked great and I noticed a couple of things that are interesting. On colors that have a base color with flake, if you run it while using the fluid bed turned up, the flake settles, so you can get 2 completely different looks by just having it on or off.

It brings up the height of the top of the fluid bed to about the same height as my heat gun, which makes it more comfortable when I’m doing a bunch of them. I just set a couple of paper towels on it to keep the fluid bed from vibrating off and it seems to work great. They are available for around $50-60 on ebay.

So it vibrates instead of air. Cool idea

I would think vibration would settle powder into hard powder. I learned something today and can't wait to try.

Thanks for the idea. I’ll get right on it.
Maybe they will bite this one……
