On colors that have a base color with flake, if you run it while using the fluid bed turned up, the flake settles, so you can get 2 completely different looks by just having it on or off.

It brings up the height of the top of the fluid bed to about the same height as my heat gun, which makes it more comfortable when I’m doing a bunch of them. I just set a couple of paper towels on it to keep the fluid bed from vibrating off and it seems to work great. They are available for around $50-60 on ebay.

The toaster oven rack should come with your toaster. If your referring to the jig clamps those come from TJ’s Tackle or you could have custom sizes made from CS Coating.

You can make some from angle aluminum from like Lowes or Home Depot. Use 1/16 inch thick, some 1/4-20 stainless steel machine bolts, 1/4-20 wing nuts, and a few strips of a silicone matt for a grill... Their is a YouTube video on it...That's what I'm going to do anyway...

I was able to get on the water yesterday and catch my first few fish on the jigs I personally tied. I also lost several in brush piles, so it’s a good thing I’ve tied a pile of them.

Feels good catching them on a jig you made. Good job. Pretty fish!

That feeling of catching the targeted fish species on a jig you crafted yourself NEVER gets old. Actually the feeling multiplies over time. Congratulations on the fish, which look nice, and welcome to jig tying, you now have a hobby for life...

I decided to try out Your Mold from Romania(top), and Print-a-Mold out of Israel(bottom 3).

The top mold is a football jig mold and was extremely reasonably priced at $34 + $25 for shipping. It only took 4 days to be delivered via DHL. This is nearly unbelievable when you consider how long stuff takes to get around within the US.

The bottom 3 are 1/8 oz and 1/4 oz collarless walleye style heads, and a 1/8 oz pill head jig, all with eye sockets. These took 2 days to be delivered via Fedex from Israel, after about a 2.5 month wait for them to be cut.

None of these have handles, so I'll likely just use clamps.

I'd love to get some Collins and Jacobs molds, but it seems like they aren't interested in the crappie jig market.

Love it! Now what are we looking at? The 2nd and 3rd mold look like the one I had him make me last year but is the last one a freestyle?

I’m currently waiting on my 1/16 oz version which is coming on 2 months waiting now. Thinking about having a freestyle one made.

I apologize. It's Teflon sheeting, not silicone. I was running on my failing memory. Had to go back and revisit my info sheet.
