I’m still waiting on supplies and tools to be delivered. In the meantime, I’ll have this beauty to admire.

Very nice. What size hooks will fit the jaws?

Enjoy that nice clean table top. Once you get you supplies and start tying it will never be the same.

This has the Big Game jaws that fit hooks 22-5/0. It will cover anything I'd ever tie.

That is actually the kitchen table. I'm blessed to have an understanding wife.

This is a crankshaft out of a 429 on the same table.

My jig tying operation will be out of a tote until we move into a larger house.

I'm used to doing this sort of thing. I did a full drivetrain and suspension build on my F100 in our driveway, rolling it out of the garage to work, then back in and cleaning up each day.

I'm going to cast and powdercoat my jigs as well, so I'll be back out on the driveway again.

Very impressive truck project, my son does those things too. I live in a small house and am use to clean up at the end of every session. If your jigs turn out half as good as your truck you will be the master in no time.

I had one of those with the SS jaws. Really like it but bought one of these. Force PredatorName: preditor.jpg

Attachment 393094Here is a better picture.
These have a 5/8" shaft. I love mine. Were out of my reach but found one used and got it for $320. Very heavy base.

I see so many new vises being sold here now and some look really interesting! Like the Cottarelli T-Rex Vise a double jaw vise made in Italy and the Stonfo Vise looks really good too, both are pretty high cost though. Seems there are new ones showing up from time to time and the high end seems to be adding more.
