Or you can just buy them from me. Cool video but I have found that the blades will dull after about 4 or 5 cuts and then it will cut uneven. But great for a few cuts. I made a jig that I can cut 15 1/8" strips at a time and change the blades every 5 cuts. Only takes about 2 minutes to change the blades and that is key. I cut up two complete possums for a fellow here for $20 and he gave me a few of his custom jigs. I sell rabbit strips on the Sponsor classified forum and I started with a jig similar to this one but if one strip gets tangled it just starting ripping and ruined a big piece of the hide. If you are going to try it I would use the nut and bolt system for better results. it takes a while to change blades but unless time is a factor and you are going to do a lot like I do you can get good results. Fatman has shown a jig that he makes with the bolts and has cut a lot. You might check out his postings.

Good video, but have to agree with ksnouf the blades dull fast when using them in tying! I have used them for cutting deer hair and the sharpness is gone really fast. I will just keep buying strips already cut and already the color I want. Now if I had access to a lot of cheap or free hides like Badger and others then I may make something like this, but for limited use. Besides I have a huge drawer full of rabbit strips of all kinds of colors so don't need to buy any either, lol!
I did enjoy the video and the little education on his epoxy and I can see using some of that info in the future.

It's a good video but I like my fingers!! LOL I don't really need to cut anymore for a while but I can pull out the cutter any time. I've got double edge razor blades in mine. If you make one either way keep the fur that sticks it ends up making good dubbing!!
