Oh Jungle, that sounds really good! i personally love tying duck feathers myself and the mallard drake has some hard to beat looking feathers. Would love to see some pics if you have some handy. thanks

Crappie pics are the last crappie of 2020 and first crappie of 2021. Both were caught using duck feather jigs. Water is cold here, skim ice on 90% of this shallow lake. Very slow steady retrieve with the jig a foot under a weighted float was only way I could get bit.

I’ve long admired your work Jim. It’s the standard I try to achieve when I drag out the feathers. I have a couple in my box always. One question, do you dye your own feathers? Those in the last pic are real cool, some palmered?
