I bought glue and light at Hobby Lobby. It was on a half price sale. It's big bottle of glue. Don't forget to put the top back on it. Don't ask me how I know. LOL The light I got isn't great, it is powered by a USB cable, but it works okay. I just have to have my laptop handy to plug it in. So I watch Richard Gene the fishing machine and tie jigs. This light cures this glue in 2 seconds or so. I've never timed it, but it's almost instant.

Thanks. I haven't heard of that being used for UV resin. I'm familiar with it for archery though.
I don't think the accelerator would work on uv resin. I did order some Loon thin resin to start with, and the Northland light. If it works, I want to try the colored resin and use it for hot spots on flies and lures. Thanks for all the input fellows.

The best I used was Clear Cure, but that guy had another business with the government that took his time so he quit making he UV Glue. Now as I understand it the maybe some thing Solarez would be one of the best to try. Lots of options. I would have to ask them if any of their line cure tacky and are any not tacky after cured.
I do see a need for both thick and thin, but each person need to decide what they want.

This is what I ended up with and it works fine:

Received the Northland Glo Buster light and the Loon thin UV Resin. Worked great! The thin is not runny, and a brush and two applicator tubes are included. The light hardened the resin quickly. I did not notice any odor or tackiness.
