In my neck of the woods I like to add a Gulp 1" leach on these lil guys and go right down into the brush pile/log jam hunting. The leach is enough weight to slowly sink the fly. Any one of those fly's are good but fire tiger would be a go to for me. In the bush I would go single fly, in open I like the twin rigs you have pictured here but with a minnow.

The fly and rigging kind of reminds me of the No Name Lure. They are really tiny hooks and they say for Blakeys Bass, but I don't think that is what I would use them for, lol! The hook with the lead is the only weight and is 1/40 Oz. The hooks look like a #12 really light wire.

I had never seen or heard of them before here on CDC. Got the chance to get some of the originals from from the Fujita family. I tied a few of them, but have a good many that I still need to do something with.
