    Default Crappie jig tying materials

I am brand new to making crappie jigs. I have a nice vise, scissors and bobbins as I have tied my own bass jigs for the past several years. I am looking for information on reputable dealers to buy hackle, chenille and flash. Also looking for recommendation on a mold and sickle hook to pour 1/16 and 1/8 ball jigs without a collar. Thank you all for being so welcoming to a newbie.

I would contact Skip (Skiptomylu) right here on cdc. He should be able to help you or steer you in the right direction.

Pm returned. Very interested in dealing with an individual instead of a larger company.

I second Skip. Not just a vendor, gives great tips, and provided some samples with my order!

Skip is a great resource, I also like Crazy Angler:

Also, Ebay is a great resource. You can spend hours on Ebay just looking and buying :P
