    Default Skinny Minnies

Waiting for the weather to cool I decided to paint a few jigs. I came across some tube jig heads and needing a time killer I painted them up. I think they should make a nice ice jig and I rarely have seen bluegills turn small jigs down all year long. 1/64 oz.

I made some of these last year but yours look better. I tried cramming chenille on them and the thread neck looks better. Good job.

These look great and will be a good fish producer.
I make a simular jig from the tube jig heads I call KISS Bugs The tail material I use is fine rubber hackle. (60 strands per inch) Head sizes 1/48,1/32,1/16,and 1/8 once.
I believe this type of pattern emmulates fry and evering eats fry.

I make these too but I fish them in open water before it gets hard. They work well here. Yours look really good.

Looks like a winning idea, but I would suggest one more color combo and that is the Blue and White. That's a great all around color combo.

It's hard to beat the chartreuse green or clown pattern( char/orange).
