    Default Fake Fur?

I've always tied jigs and streamers with natural fur or feathers. Got plenty bucktail, marabou, squirrel tail and kip so I'm not desperate for material. More and more of this artificial hair on the market in quite a range of colors. Can anyone recommend a particular brand as their favorite? I have a couple packs of some type of Polar fiber and I'm really not impressed. Advice please....TY

I have so many different types of fur but I still have and use Hareline Extra Select craft fur, comes in many colors. After you cut it off you brush out the under fibers and tie in like hair. Search around for the best price. I use to buy Punisher Craft hair but it got bad so switched. Hareline Extra Select Craft Fur | J. Stockard Fly Fishing

I'm in the same camp here. I plan to try some artificial hair in a dubbing loop for collars this fall/winter.

There is so much dubbing out there you may want to think about that? I have a ton of it and it comes in so many colors!
