    Nice looking jigs!!!
I like using kiptail as it is very durable and holds up well to panfish attacks.

Nice work, do those heads have a lead collar on them?

Nice tied and looking good! That stuff works really well. If it was me and I know it's not, but I would add a touch of Kelly Green in the Fire Tiger.

I don't know about his, but the ones I use for kiptail sure do, but they were a special made head that I talked Robert into making years ago. I don't think he still make them, but if anyone knew they were going to use them a lot I bet he could start again with that 1/16 Oz head. That head has a thin collar with a slight flair at the end to help control the thread which is what I ask him to do.

Yes the heads have a collar on em with a slight flair on the end of it. Tying some more Firetiger shortly will try the Kelly Green in em. Thanks all for the compliments. I bought a 1/8oz Ament mold off E-bay not realizing it had been severly modified!! So seeing the mold was junk, I thought I would try to make it usefull. Took a file to a jig head with collar and got it down to 1/48oz and then used JB Weld. Made up two cavities of six to pour 1/48oz. One cavity turned out great the other is usable but some work with the file is needed. Went better than I expected modifying the mold. I only pour for myself so one cavity is good enough.

Wow that's a heck of a job you did, heads are looking good! Can't get over you taking a mold made for 1/8 and turning it into a 1/48 Oz mold, that's good work man!
